project to support self-help in Kenya
In Kenya the general poverty is one of the biggest problems. As a result
social problems occur, like slum growing or street children misery crop out
in the large cities.
CARGO METALL sponsors the education for Rose Dama Kenga (18 year old
orphan). She attends the "Thiyani Tailoring college" in Kilifi. We support
her courses in dressmaking from 2006 to 2008. The college’s objective is to
equip young women with skills that will empower them to live economically
self-reliant.
